Primary/Secondary Mathematics Tuition (Online)
LEARN MATHS WITH FULLY QUALIFIED AND EXPERIENCED MATHS TUTOR
A child starts learning at Primary Level and continues to learn at the Secondary Level. Primary school is the home of actual learning when a child understands what learning is and why it is important in life. From Year 1 to Year 6 a child builds up a foundation in different subjects. Both parents and teachers play a vital role in teaching children at this stage. Secondary school is when a student’s journey into subject-by-subject learning truly begins. Subject knowledge specialises further in Year 9 onward, making a parent less likely to provide homework help. As the demands on their knowledge and expectations for their success increase, so will your child’s need for a tutor.

Features of our online tuition:
Fully Interactive – This is a virtual classroom by using the Zoom application where students can hear and see the tutors, ask questions using a microphone, or typing the question into their dialogue boxes. There is instant feedback and all questions are answered as soon as they are asked. This cannot be matched by pre-recorded tutorials. Students can share their screens and can also see the screen of the tutor. This will help them understand how a problem could be solved. The digital whiteboard which is a feature of Zoom will help students understand complex maths easily.
Tailored sessions – All sessions are tailored to the requirements of the individual or group so any problems can be raised and addressed immediately.
KS3 and KS4 syllabus - Aimed at secondary students based in the UK – this is NOT a ‘One Size Fits All’ approach. All lessons are run by the UK tutor who is familiar with the examining body and its requirements so students can be confident they are learning what is relevant to their courses.
Small Groups – If a group study is chosen, each Group will have a maximum of 5 students. This will make the sessions interesting and manageable. The students do not get lost in a large class yet have the advantage of bouncing off ideas and views with their group.
Homework – All sessions have homework set at the end which students are expected to finish and correct in the next session. This reinforces topics learned and allows parents and tutors to assess progress and address any concerns.
Tests – Weekly tests will be set on all topics covered during that week. This will help students, parents and tutors to assess each pupil’s progress and understanding of all topics.
Archive – All lessons will be recorded and saved as archives, which students will have unlimited access to, so they can re-visit a topic as many times as required. If this still does not help, they can email their questions.
Contract – Payment for each lesson is on a rolling weekly basis as this is a ‘Pay as You Go' service with payments for each week being payable in advance at the beginning of each week. There is no fixed term contract and anyone can unsubscribe whenever they want.
