Our Online Tuition
We offer online one to one, and group tuition for pupils who are taking the 11 plus exams in 2023, 2024 and 2025. Lessons are given on online Zoom Education platform.
Fully Interactive – This is a virtual classroom by using Zoom application where students can hear and see the tutors, ask questions using a microphone or typing the question into their dialogue boxes. There is instant feedback and all questions are answered as soon as they are asked. This cannot be matched by pre-recorded tutorials. Students can share their screen and can also see the screen of the tutor. This will help them understand how a problem could be solved.
Tailored sessions – All sessions are tailored to the requirements of the group so any problems can be raised and addressed immediately.
11 plus CEM syllabus - Aimed at 11 Plus students based in the UK – this is NOT a ‘One Size Fits All’ approach. All lessons are run by UK tutors who are familiar with the examining body and its requirements so students can be confident they are learning what is relevant to their courses.
Small Groups – Each Group will have a maximum of 5 students. This will make the sessions interesting and manageable. The students do not get lost in a large class yet have the advantage of bouncing off ideas and views with their group.
Homework – All sessions have a homework set at the end which students are expected to finish and correct in the next session. This reinforces topics learnt and allows parents and tutors to assess progress and address any concerns.
Tests – Weekly tests will be set on all topics covered during that week. This will help students, parents and tutors to assess each pupil’s progress and understanding of all topics.
Archive – All lessons will be recorded and saved as archives, which students will have unlimited access to, so they can re-visit a topic as many times as required. If this still does not help, they can email their questions.
Contract – Payment for each lesson is on a rolling weekly basis as this is a ‘Pay as You Go' service with payments for each week being payable in advance at the beginning of each week. There is no fixed term contract and anyone can unsubscribe whenever they want.
